Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders or boneless chicken breasts sliced into strips
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

Prepare the Breading:

  • In one shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and heavy cream.
  • In a second shallow bowl, mix the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the Chicken:

  • Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  • Transfer to the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to coat both sides evenly.

Air Fry the Tenders:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch.
  • Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Serve:

  • Serve hot with your favorite keto-friendly dipping sauce, such as ranch, sugar-free ketchup, or spicy mayo.
