- 1 lb chicken tenders or boneless chicken breasts sliced into strips
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- ½ cup almond flour
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Olive oil spray
Prepare the Breading:
In one shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and heavy cream.
In a second shallow bowl, mix the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Coat the Chicken:
Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Transfer to the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to coat both sides evenly.
Air Fry the Tenders:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch.
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Serve:
Serve hot with your favorite keto-friendly dipping sauce, such as ranch, sugar-free ketchup, or spicy mayo.
