- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 1 oz packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 16 oz can refried beans
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 crunchy taco shells
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Brown ground beef with diced onion, about 5-7 minutes. Drain if needed.
Stir in garlic, taco seasoning, and water. Simmer 2-3 minutes.
Warm refried beans in a saucepan or microwave.
Spread beans in taco shells, then add beef mixture and shredded cheese.
(Optional) Bake at 375°F for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
Top with tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, and cilantro. Serve immediately!
