- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
- 1 28 oz bag frozen tater tots
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley optional
Preheat oven to 375°F. Brown ground beef in olive oil. Add onion and cook for 3-4 minutes. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Mix in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk. Simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in 1 cup cheese.
Spread beef mixture in a 9x13 baking dish. Top with tater tots and remaining cheese.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
Let sit for 5 minutes, garnish, and serve warm.
